- Exams! Exams! Exams! Yes, the day will finally come on the end of May 2009 where I'll be sitting for the exam that my peers and I have been waiting for so long. With my previous grades, I'm hoping to continue my feat on this exams too and hopefully, an acceptance letter to University of Portsmouth will follow...
- England! Oh, the glory! Ever since my visit to London, my head has been haunted by beautiful images of the beautiful architecture one of the greatest cities in the world. Now, my mind is made up and I want to spend a Christmas or two there! Perhaps, God will grant my wish of celebrating Christmas in snow next year as my mother did this year.
- Oh Europe! So close, yet so far away...if I do get accepted to study in Portsmouth, then France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland, Turkey, Belgium, German, Scotland will all be within reach! Gaahhhh!!!!
- University of Portsmouth. No, it's not on THES 2008 or any other THES but it is still one of the top universities (note the one of) in the UK with its research team and whatsoever. Right now, I couldn't care less! My B. Ed. will come from there and hopefully I'll have the best lecturers, best peers, best environment and the best experience a university student could have.
- MOVIES. Let's see what's in store for next year: Revolutionary Road (eye opener); Changeling (Jeffrey Donovan+engaging story); New Moon (yes!!!); Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (double yes!!!); Watchmen (trailer rocks); Seven Pounds (Will Smith, hello?); Bride Wars (bffe bitch fight!); Star Trek (JJ Abrams+Zachary Quinto=hell, yes); Dragonball (curious!); Transformers 2 (because the 1st one rocked); and Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.+Jude Law=gaaahhhh).
- The return of everything good on TV: Burn Notice; Gossip Girl; Lost; One Tree Hill; Chuck; Heroes and House. I'll be needing super-speed internet for all of this.
- A camera. Whether it's a Sony Cybershot DSC-T700 or a simple DSLR to start honing my non-existant photography skills, I'll be getting a camera. Of course, a budget is needed. A new laptop too, maybe? I'm feeling good with this old Dell Inspiron 640m. Now all I need is an external HDD, a webcam and a mic+headphone set...
- Perhaps that RM263 TopShop dress I've been having my eye on...or a coat from ZARA...oh so many choices! Money? Gotta start saving!
- Airplanes! As of now, I'm applying a GRADS card (something I should've done a looooonggg time ago...) and I'll be persuading my mother to let me home by airplanes rather than bus. I did say I feel safer on planes than any other land vehicle, did I? And maybe next time if I want to book a flight to..say, Hong Kong, I might get a half price discount...oh, the possibilities! Am such a doofus.
- New hostel! Oh, who am I kidding. I don't give a fuck if the hostel's new or not, but I do care that the toilets are new (despite them being...a little bit not accomodating...) and that I'll be there for only...*counts with fingers*...4 and a 1/2 months tops? What with the holidays, the camps and everything else, time will sure pass by, and before I know it, I'm done with the exams and back at home, blogging. Haha so yeah, hurrah for new hostels! Urgh, not THAT much.
So, hopefully 2009 will be a tanoshi year and that may good things come, ne? Happy New Year!
